Tool Thursday
Good Morning all! Welcome to Tool Thursday at the Scrappin Place! I was in my scrappin place last night and suddenly remembered that I needed to have a tool for review today. So I thought that I would take a look around my scrappin place to see what tool I use daily. I found that I used my Paper trimmers way much! Now, I have 3 paper trimmers, which am I happy with all 3, no, but I do use them. I have the Provocraft trimmer that came with my cricut kit, the Fiskars portable trimmer and the Making Memories trimmer that cuts waves. What I have found is that on the 2 regular trimmers, the blades do not last very long and I am continually replacing them. So if any of you have some suggestions on trimmers, please let me know.
Hope you all have a great day!

I found a video that if you all are looking to make something with your kids, this maybe what you are looking for. The video was "scented ornaments" and the channel on YouTube is Cookingandmore. Go check it out! I am going to give it a go with my son. If you can't find it, go to my channel and it is the first vid under my favorites!

Blog Review Monday!
Happy Monday! Well, I had a busy weekend and looking forward to a relatively quiet week. Now, with that said, it is time for Blog Review here at my Scrappin Place! This is one of the best blogs that I have seen and she is quite the artist. Penny Duncan Creations, which you all should go and take a look at her blog! For those of us who use Sure Cuts A Lots with their Cricut, she does a wonderful job at creating the Scuts (which are the cut files) for all of us to use. I call her the Bomb Diggity of SCAL! Tool Thursday
For my first "Tool" Thursday post, is for tools that I use at the Scrappin Place, and think are pretty cool! Now, we all use scissors for cutting that lovely scrapbooking papers, ribbon and other items that need to be trimmed. I just purchased the Tim Holtz ionic scissors and I love, love, love them! I also use the cutter bee scissors, by EK Success, and they are also very good. But the Tim Holtz ones can not only cut paper and the other stuff I listed, they are the most comfortable handles I have ever used. So, my scrappy peoples, give these scissors a try, they are wonderful.

Whatever Wednesday
Okay, now for this new weekly post, I have named it Whatever Wednesday. So, this will be whatever I think I should post! LOL! It can be a new technique, new paper line, a review or whatever comes to my little brain! : )
Now, I was in my Scrappin Place, where I am currently working on Christmas Paper Bag mini albums. I was attempting to figure out how to make something sparkle even more than my favorite sparkle, which is Stickles, and remembered that I had purchased some of the diamond dust. I have to say it worked like a charm and it is sparkley!!!! Very easy to use, but here is a tip, use a spoon to sprinkle it over the glue, I can guarantee it will be less of a mess! I used my scotch glue to adhere it to what I wanted, and it does take a while to dry, but boy, you will love the results!
Give it a try, I promise, you will like it. Just keep it out of reach of the kids, as it is glass.
