Now for my project for this hop:

We were to make something which showed something we were thankful for and I am very thankful that I was adopted by my Dad & Mom.  This is a 8 x 8 layout, which I had never done on this size before, and this was the day that they brought me home from the foster home.  I was 2 months old and thank goodness for my older brother who is the little guy in the picture, he is the one who told my parents to name me Teresa! I found out my Mother wanted to call me Marcia! Yikes! Shades of the Brady Bunch!!! Now, I am also thankful for my hubby and sons now, but I could not have asked for better parents.  A toast to them, for giving me a home! Thanks for hopping and now head over to the fabo Deb at http://www.craftytexaswoman.blogspot.com/

Scrappy Hugs,
T

  20. I have always found the older photos to be hard to scrap because of the colors of the film and the colors of papers today but you did a great job here. Wonderful story and glad you had a great set of parents. My husband and I fostered 19 teenage juvenile delinquent girls and one boy over the years and many had rough starts and through all of those we heard many tales of foster placements and adoptions and not all turn out well like yours did. You are truly blessed!
